Dr. Evan Selsky is a renowned Cardiologist with a passion for promoting heart health awareness and education. With years of experience in Cardiology, he is dedicated to empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their heart health.
My name is Dr. Evan Selsky. I have been a Cardiologist in practice for the past 36 years. I completed medical school at University of Maryland at Baltimore, then my Internal Medicine training at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore and finally Cardiology at Good Samaritan Medical Center (now Banner University Medical Center, an affiliate of University of Arizona) in Phoenix, Arizona. I have been the recipient of many "Top Doctors" awards, and I have been listed in Castle Connolly Top Doctors publication since 2012. I was the director of the Coronary Care Unit at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, until moving back to my home state of Maryland. I am now in practice with Tidal Health, in Millsboro, Delaware (near the beach).
I have found that most patients want to learn about their hearts, learn about heart disease, and most importantly learn what they can do to prevent heart problems in the future. The internet is flooded with "heart healthy" related information, but often written poorly, or by a robot / AI, or written out of context. My lessons are all 100% produced by me without use of AI, based on many years of personal experience directly with cardiac patients as well as countless hours reading the latest in cardiac research. I promise to make the information clear and understandable, based on true real-patient stories and experiences, and hopefully interesting to learn.
We all have both good and bad attributes, myself included. But if there is one thing that my patients tell me, it is that I explain things well, in terms that they understand. I certainly hope you agree, once you start participating in my "lessons".
